Important Notice For Axis Bank Prepaid Cardholders

Following changes will come into effect from 1st November 2011

  • USAGE OF OTHER BANK ATMs – FEES

    • Charges for transactions on Prepaid cards:
      • Rs. 20.00/- (including taxes) per Financial transaction – i.e. Cash Withdrawals
      • Rs. 8.50/- (excluding taxes) per Non-Financial transaction – i.e. Balance Inquiry, Pin Change & Mini Statement.
      • Transactions on Axis Bank ATMs are completely free.
  • FAILED ATM TRANSACTION

    • In case of Short / Zero Cash dispensed at other Bank ATMs, complaint can be lodged at the nearest Axis Bank branch OR by calling PhoneBanking OR by writing to the Bank at debit.card@axisbank.com
    • As per RBI guidelines, Axis Bank will credit such wrongly debited amounts within a period of 7 working days from the date of the complaint. The Bank will pay Rs.100/- per day beyond 7 working days only if the complaint is lodged within 30 days of the date of the transaction.
    • Other Bank customers using Axis Bank ATMs are requested to contact their Bank in case of Short / Zero cash dispensation.

Effective 1st July, 2011 RBI has mandated the following changes to:

  • USAGE OF OTHER BANK ATMs – FEES
    • SAVING ACCOUNT -

      The permitted 5 free transactions per month at other Bank ATMs will include Financial as well as Non-Financial transactions.
    • Charges for transactions over the free ones:
      • Rs. 20.00/- (including taxes) per Financial transaction – i.e. Cash Withdrawals
      • Rs. 8.50/- (excluding taxes) per Non-Financial transaction – i.e. Balance Inquiry, Pin Change & Mini Statement.
    • Transactions on Axis Bank ATMs are completely free.
    • For details on special pricing on Priority / Wealth / Privee please contact your Branch Manager.
  • FAILED ATM TRANSACTION
