Axis Bank aligns with fitness, launches Active band
It allows customers to make payments at NFC-enabled outlets (50,000 in India according to the website),
track their fitness and earn reward points from the bank for the same.

[The band] will contain a dedicated debit card chip that works with the NFC module.
"As long as you have an account on Axis Bank, you can use the GOQii Band 2.0 to make payments at
over 1 lakh merchant establishments across the country," said Founder & CEO of GOQii, Vishal Gondal.
