As part of Axis Bank's Initiative towards digitization, a default VPA/ UPI ID has been created for all Mobile Banking customers of Axis Bank. You can edit/delete your pre-generated VPA/ UPI by following the
below mentioned process:
Process to be followed in case you are using an older version of BHIM Axis Pay UPI app.
- Select “Manage accounts” in the side menu
- Do a long press on the existing linked account containing pre-generated VPA/ UPI ID
- Delete option would appear, click on delete
- Now click on '+' sign and select Axis Bank
- Account along with pre-generated VPA/ UPI ID will be automatically fetched
- Click on the "VPA field" and do a backspace to delete the existing pre-generated VPA/ UPI ID and set a new VPA / UPI ID of your choice
Process to be followed in case you are using a latest version of Axis Pay UPI app.
- Select “My Account” in the side menu
- Delete the existing linked account containing pre-generated VPA/ UPI ID
- Now click on the '+' sign and select Axis Bank
- Account will be fetched with ‘Set UPI ID’ option
- Click on the "Set UPI ID" and set a new UPI ID of your choice
