SMS Banking : Update and Unsubscribe

You can update or unsubscribe Value Added SMS Alert services any time you wish. Visit any ATM or Axis Bank Branch to update or unsubscribe your mobile number. Phone banking service is also available for subscription.

You can register/update your mobile number by visiting any nearest ATM or Axis Bank Branch. 

Follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Insert the card and enter PIN number
  • Select ‘Registrations’
  • Select ‘Mobile Number Update'
  • You would see the message ‘Your account number 91xxxxxxxxxxxxx is already registered with Axis Bank. Would you like to update your number now?’ Please select ‘Update’ option
  • Enter the Mobile Number you want to update
  • Re-enter the Mobile Number

Kindly submit the request for mobile number update/registration by filling the 'Customer Request Form' at the nearest Axis Bank Branch.

While doing mobile transactions at times you are asked to re-confirm your mobile number with the Bank by updating it again at any ATM or Branch. This is because your Mobile Number has been updated earlier through IVR or Internet Banking. For additional account security, we want you to re-confirm your mobile number available with us via an ATM or a Branch. 

  • Insert the card and enter PIN number
  • Select ‘Registrations’
  • Select ‘Mobile Number Update'
  • You would see the message ‘Your account number 91xxxxxxxxxxxxx is already registered with Axis Bank. Would you like to update your number now?’ Please select ‘Update’ option
  • Enter the Mobile Number you want to update
  • Re-enter the Mobile Number

Kindly submit the request for mobile number update/registration by filling the 'Customer Request Form' at the nearest Axis Bank Branch.

You can unsubscribe from Value Added SMS Alert by visiting nearest Branch/ ATM or by calling our Phone Banking. By Unsubscribing you would only receive mandatory alerts. *

  • Insert the card and enter PIN number
  • Select ‘Registrations’
  • Select ‘Alerts’
  • Select ‘Account Type’
  • Select ‘Unsubscribe’

Kindly submit your request to Unsubscribe in written at the nearest Axis Bank Branch.

Debit/Credit Card Transaction alerts sent as per regulatory guidelines and Internet Banking transaction alerts do not form part of Value Added SMS Alert service. Customers who are not registered for chargeable SMS banking service will continue to get these alerts free of charge. 

* Currently as per RBI guidelines, mandatory alerts include alerts for debit/credit cards transactions (ATM/ POS / Online), Internet Banking Transactions, Netsecure Codes and Beneficiary Registration Alerts.
