e-Payment Facility for Online Payment of Income/ Other Direct Taxes (CBDT)

Axis Bank offers the e-Payment Facility for online payment of Income/ Other Direct Taxes on the Internet by its Retail/ Corporate customers. The Assessees/ Taxpayers maintaining Accounts with the Bank can now have the convenience of paying their Income/ Other Direct Taxes from the Desktop.

For Retail Customers

The Retail Customers of the Bank can pay their Income/ Other Direct Taxes through TIN-NSDL website using iConnect (Net Banking) facility provided by the Bank. The customer will get online acknowledgement of the tax payment by way of a Cyber Receipt in form of Challan including Challan Identification Number (CIN) immediately after making the payment.

For Corporates

The Corporate assessees can also pay their Income/ Direct Taxes through TIN-NSDL website using iConnect (Net Banking) facility provided by the Bank. Under this option the corporate assessees have to obtain Separate Corporate ID, User Ids & Passwords for e-Payments.

Additionally, the Corporate assessees can pay their Income/ Direct Taxes through Corporate iConnect (Internet Banking for Corporates) facility, which provides higher transaction security and maker/ checker feature. Under this option the Corporate assessees have to do a one-time registration with their PAN/ TAN and upon confirmation of the same, they can make payments as also get online acknowledgement of their payment by way of a Cyber Receipt in the form of Challan including Challan Identification Number (CIN).
