e-Payment Facility for online payment of Delhi VAT/ Central Sales Tax

Axis Bank offers the e-Payment Facility for online payment of Delhi VAT/ Central Sales Tax on the Internet by its customers. The Dealers/ Taxpayers maintaining Accounts with the Bank can now have the convenience of paying their VAT/ Central Sales Tax in Delhi from the Desktop.

The features of our Bank's e-Payment Facility is as under:

Process

  • Registration:
    • The dealers/ taxpayers after login to Corporate iConnect with their Corporate ID, User ID & Password will be required to do a one-time registration in Corporate iConnect for Delhi VAT/ Central Sales Tax payments in the 'Delhi VAT/ CST' option under 'Tax Payments' Menu by providing details like Name, Address and TIN.
    • Based on the Registration details submitted, the TIN as provided by the dealers/ taxpayers during Registration would be verified in the back-end as per the validation stipulated by Department of Trade & Taxes, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
    • Once the TIN is verified, the Registration will be confirmed by the Bank and it will appear under the List of Registered Payees in Corporate iConnect.
  • Payments and CIN Generation/ Printing of Challan:
    • For payments, once the Registration is confirmed, the dealers/ taxpayers will be able to pay Delhi VAT/ Central Sales Tax by selecting the relevant Challan in the 'DST VAT/ CST' option under 'Tax Payments' Menu.
    • The DVAT and CST Challan templates have been created within Corporate iConnect as per the Department of Trade & Taxes, Govt. of NCT of Delhi guidelines.
    • The dealers/ taxpayers have to select the relevant Challan applicable for their payment and enter all the required details such as Amount with break-up, period, payment type, etc.
    • After ensuring the correctness of all the details entered in the Challan, the assessees/ taxpayers can authorise the payment using the 'Enterer-Approver/ Maker-Checker' feature.
    • Once the payment is effected, the dealers/ taxpayers Account with our Bank will get debited and the 'DVAT Internet Collection Account' with our Bank's designated Internet Collection Branch for Delhi VAT/ Central Sales Tax e-Payments i.e. Khan Market Branch in Delhi will get credited.
    • Thereafter, on execution of the payment, the dealers/ taxpayers will be able to download/ print Cyber Receipt in the form of Challan, including Challan Identification Number (CIN), for their reference and record.

Availability of the Facility

  • For Payment of Delhi VAT / Central Sales Tax in NCT of Delhi
  • To the Customer having a Current Account with any Branch of the Bank and paying Delhi VAT/ Central Sales Tax in NCT of Delhi
  • To the Customer registered for Internet Banking Facility (Corporate iConnect) of the Bank with Funds Transfer Facility

Payment Timings:

  • This is a 24*7*365 facility and as such customers can make payment any time of the day
  • All payments effected up to 8 p.m. will be accounted for the same day and all payments effected after 8 p.m. and on Sundays/ Bank Holidays will be accounted for on the next working day
