  1. Definitions
    1. The eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program from Axis Bank allows eligible members to accumulate points for transactions and other actions as may be specified by Axis Bank from time to time. Points accumulated on such transactions may be exchanged for a wide variety of rewards as may be offered by eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program from time to time.
    2. An eDGE Loyalty Rewards Member is an eligible customer of Axis Bank who chooses to avail the benefits of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program. An eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship means one or more of the Axis Bank products and services listed in what follows that are eligible for inclusion in eDGE Loyalty Rewards and are availed of by a member.
    3. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points are the reward points credited to a member's eDGE Loyalty Rewards account as a result of any eDGE Loyalty Rewards member's transactions that are eligible for the earning of points as per the terms of the program. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points may also be debited from the member's account when redeemed or expired.
    4. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account means the account of transactions relating to the eDGE Loyalty Rewards for a particular member and includes earned, less redeemed and expired Points.
    5. These definitions would hold true for all transactions and communications pertaining to eDGE Loyalty Rewards.
  2. Eligibility
    1. Any Axis Bank customer invited to the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program by competent authority at Axis Bank may be eligible to be a part of the program. Eligibility criterion will be reviewed from time to time. Only customers in good standing and with no amounts overdue will be eligible for eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program.

  3. Enrolment
    1. Any eligible customer duly invited to eDGE Loyalty Rewards will be enrolled in eDGE Loyalty Rewards unless the customer specifically opts out.
    2. The member needs to register online using his Customer ID, Name as embossed on his Debit / Credit Card and Date of Birth as per bank records to activate his account and start using his reward points and other program benefits. The member is required to set up his Username and Password as a part of the registration process. In case the member forgets his Username, he can login using his Customer ID.
    3. Email address captured as a part of registration process will be treated as loyalty email address and member will receive all the eDGE Loyalty Rewards related emails communications on this email. This email address would be used only for loyalty related communication and would not impact / update his / her bank registered email address.
    4. Incase of redemption of e-vouchers it will be sent on the Bank registered email address only.
    5. It is the sole responsibility of the Member to activate the Account online. Axis Bank would not be responsible for the activation of the accounts.
    6. eDGE Loyalty Rewards members will benefit from special offers, promotions and privileges which may be provided by Axis Bank and their partners from time to time. Membership is subject to the qualifications and conditions (including annual Points accrual limits) as determined by Axis Bank. Axis Bank reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to impose a validity period on membership.
    7. Membership in eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program is non-transferable.
    8. In the case of joint or multiple holders of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship, all authorized signatories thereto will be automatically enrolled in eDGE Loyalty Rewards ; however, the use and redemption of the Points shall only be available to the primary eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship signatory as identified in Axis Bank Records and is limited, as described in these Terms and Conditions. However, each eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account holder will accrue Points, within the program purview, with respect to his or her related accounts or services and the same will be credited to the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account.
    9. Accounts are identified by the Customer Identification Number (Cust ID) of the primary signatory as established by the customer records maintained by Axis Bank.
    10. In case an account signatory(ies) or a supplementary account holder(s) is/are removed from the qualifying eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship, then such signatory(ies) or supplementary account holder(s) is/are no longer eligible to participate in eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program.
    11. Axis Bank reserves the right to withdraw / discontinue any individual's membership in eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program and revoke any accrued Points.
    12. Membership in eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program is automatically terminated upon death or bankruptcy of the primary (first) eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship-holder and the primary (first) Axis Bank eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship-holder may terminate membership in eDGE Loyalty Reward Program at any time upon written notice to the program centre.
    13. Upon membership termination, all Points accrued in the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account (as defined below) shall be immediately expired and the membership gets closed.
  4. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points
    1. Axis Bank shall determine, from time to time, at its discretion, which eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationships or which Axis Bank Card/Bank transactions are eligible for inclusion/exclusion in the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program and how many eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points to be earned and on what basis).
    2. Axis Bank will also determine from time to time the number of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points required for redemption of any reward. A member must be a customer in good standing, have earned a minimum number of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points (currently 300 Points) to be eligible for redemption.
    3. In case of a reversal of any eligible transaction, eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points credited to the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account as a result of such eligible transaction will be deducted from the accrued eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points balance.
    4. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points may be earned only as per the terms determined by Axis Bank. More specifically, during a promotion, special offer, cash-back or black-out period, Axis Bank may decide to disallow the earning of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points on already discounted transactions.
    5. Purchases on Add-on Credit Cards will accrue eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points which will be credited to the Primary account holder's account. Only the primary account holder can redeem Points.
    6. Points are earned for each of the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationships or eligible transaction subject to the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points earning criteria and no eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points shall be awarded retroactively. An indicative but not necessarily complete list of exceptions to earnings of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points per type of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship or Eligible Transactions is provided in Schedule A.
    7. Points are calculated by rounding down the transaction value to the nearest integer and as per the criteria set for each Axis Bank product. For example if the transaction value is Rs 259 it will be rounded off down to the nearest integer Rs. 200 for purpose of calculating Points.
    8. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points are not assignable and cannot be pledged.
    9. In case of a change to the status of the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship (such as an upgrade or downgrade thereof), the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points calculation may be adjusted according to the revised status of the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship.
    10. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points are valid for a period of three (3) years, starting from the day of the month on which the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points are earned. (Eg: If a member has earned eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points on 10 January 2013, the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points shall be valid for redemption till 10 January 2016.) Unless used prior to the expiration date, the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points shall expire on such date.
    11. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points will also expire in case of no earn transaction on the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account in a period of 365 days.
    12. Upon expiration, unused eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points will be removed from the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account as of the expiration date and cannot be re-credited. It is the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account holder's responsibility to be aware of both the number of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points in his account, and their expiration date.
    13. All the spends done under the Program purview shall be eligible to earn eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points except what will be excluded by Axis Bank from time to time, presently such exceptions include:
      1. Balance transfers
      2. Cash advances
      3. Any ‘onus' transactions
      4. Financial charges (e.g., late payment fee, dishonoured cheque charges, service fee, transaction charges)
      5. Disputed transactions
      6. Any purchases made at petrol pumps/ service stations
      7. Payment of enrolment fee for the Program (If any)
  5. Redemptions
    1. Redemption of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points is subject to
      1. Axis Bank approval and terms and conditions as relevant to the reward.
      2. Availability of the reward at the time of redemption request.
      3. Restrictions imposed by any supplier or issuer of the reward.
    2. Whenever deemed necessary, Axis Bank may, without notice, cancel the eDGE Loyalty Rewards order or substitute the reward with another of comparable nature and value, as determined by Axis Bank.
    3. The eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship must not be suspended or closed by Axis Bank at the time of the receipt of request for redemption of Points.
    4. The eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points accrued can only be redeemed by the primary relationship-holder, and not by an additional account holder.
    5. Redeemed rewards will be delivered at addresses registered with Axis Bank and in India ONLY.
    6. All e-vouchers redeemed within the premises of the program will be redeemable ONLY in India at the respective brand.
    7. The Points cannot be exchanged for cash or credit or be used to obtain cash advances, or be used against payment for any charges incurred in the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship.
    8. The member shall have to call the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Customer Service Centre with the product code obtained from the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Catalogue on the website.
    9. The requested gift(s)/gift vouchers will be delivered in not more than 6 weeks of placing the request.
      1. E-vouchers will be delivered in not more than 10 working days.
    10. If the gift(s)/gift vouchers are not received as stipulated in the terms when placing the redemption request, the member needs to intimate Axis Bank for non-receipt of the gift(s)/gift vouchers. Such intimation should be made within 15 days post the delivery period as stipulated in the terms when redeeming the gift(s)/gift vouchers.
    11. Axis Bank is not liable for any delay or loss in delivery of the gift(s)/gift vouchers.
    12. Redeemed rewards are not exchangeable for other rewards, or refundable, replaceable, or transferable for cash or credit under any circumstances, nor can these be re-converted back to eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points. Once exchanged for another partner loyalty program, if any, eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points cannot be transferred back.
    13. All rewards are subject to availability and certain restrictions may apply. The redemption procedure and the additional terms and conditions for each reward shall be set forth in the gift vouchers issued to the member.
    14. In the event of non-availability or discontinuance of any product, Axis Bank customer may be given the option of replacing the product from the Rewards Catalogue with another brand/ product of equivalent monetary value or credit eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points back to the members account.
    15. Axis Bank reserves the right to introduce new products and replace the existing ones at any point in time without prior intimation to the member.
    16. Axis Bank makes no warranties or representations either expressed or implied, with regard to the type, quality or fitness of the gifts provided through the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program. Gifts will be accompanied by warranty information wherever applicable from the manufacturer and claims must be directed to the manufacturers directly.
    17. Axis Bank does not accept responsibility for the quality of goods or services provided by the merchant establishments participating in the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program. All disputes in this regard shall be taken up directly by the member with the participating establishment.
    18. Any additional costs incurred in connection with redemption of any reward shall be the sole responsibility of the member.
    19. Issuance of a redemption certificate for dining, travel or hotel accommodation does not constitute a reservation. The member is responsible for making all reservations and notifying the participating merchant establishments of the reward(s) he/she is going to redeem.
    20. Other Axis Bank benefits, which are activated by use of the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationships, do not apply to goods or services received as rewards under the Program.
    21. For all issues related to discrepancy, damage or deficiency of gifts/gift vouchers, the same needs to be intimated to Axis Bank Customer Service within 3 working days of such receipt. However, incase no such intimation is received from the Customer within this time period, the Gift/s Gift Voucher/s shall be considered as valid and accepted and no queries or complaints in this regard shall be entertained.
    22. Axis Bank shall in no event be responsible or liable for the product and/or services redeemed from the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points, in any manner whatsoever including but not limited to any defect or deficiency in, or in respect to any claim arising out of non-use or use of the Points, or in usage of redemption certificate for dining, travel or hotel accommodation or in usage, durability of any product/service acquired by redemption of Points.
  6. Delivery of Rewards
    1. Rewards redeemed shall be dispatched only at the address registered with the Axis Bank and within India only, and in the case of e-Voucher it will be sent on the Axis Bank registered email id. In case the member has changed his address recently, he would need to visit the nearest Axis Bank branch to request for a change in address. The same holds true in case a change has to be made in the email id registered with the bank. Only after the member receives a confirmation on change of address should he place a request for redemption of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points. Under no circumstance would the gift/reward be delivered to any address other than the Axis Bank registered address(es).
    2. Delivery will be made only against written acknowledgement of receipt of the gift/reward by any occupant at the registered address. Such acknowledgement shall be deemed to be acknowledgement of the member.
    3. No dispatch shall be made to P.O. Box addresses or to addresses outside India.
    4. Axis Bank or a third party service provider such as a courier company shall make three attempts to deliver the gift/reward ordered to the registered address. If the gift/reward is not delivered after three attempts, the redemption order stands cancelled and the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points shall be returned / credited to members account as per due process.
    5. If a gift/reward received is damaged, and
      1. If the damage is evident from the condition of the packaging, the member should refuse to accept the shipment and obtain a refusal note from the courier company and send it to the Manager, Customer Service Credit Cards, Axis Bank Ltd., 4th floor, C Wing, Solaris Premises, Opp L&T Gate No. 6, Saki Vihar Road, Powai, Andheri (E), Mumbai – 400072.
      2. If the damage is discovered after opening the package, the member should keep all packaging materials and cartons intact and return all the material to the Manager, Customer Service - Credit Cards. If the returned goods are found by Axis Bank to be defective or not to comply with the description in the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Catalogue, Axis Bank shall endeavor to procure replacements for the items, and if not, shall credit the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points back to the members account. The member shall thereafter have no claim whatsoever against Axis Bank.
      3. In case of receipt of damaged, defective or deficient goods, the member should intimate the same to Axis Bank Customer Service within 3 working days of receipt of gift/reward. However, in case of failure to do so, the reward shall be considered as accepted and member's request shall not be entertained.
      4. In case of receipt of incorrect or invalid vouchers or non-receipt of vouchers, the member should intimate the same to Axis Bank Customer Service within 3 working days of such receipt. However, in case of failure to do so, the vouchers shall be considered as valid and accepted and member's request shall not be entertained.
  7. Statement
    1. A record of eDGE Loyalty Rewards activity for each relationship will be mailed (electronically in the form of a statement to the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship-holder or primary signatory thereof by Axis Bank, (the Statement) on a regular basis, to those who have provided their email id to the Axis Bank. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points shall be transferred on a periodic basis from the Axis Bank relationship into the account (the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Account) for the purpose of accruing points, and all the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points shall accrue and expire as described in these Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions contained in the Statement. An eDGE Loyalty Rewards member can access the transactions for the last three months online at https://edgerewards.axixsbank.com
    2. Any discrepancy on the Statement must be reported to Axis Bank within fourteen (14) days of the statement date and such reporting is subject to the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Statement.
  8. General
    1. Fraud and/or abuse relating to earning and redemption of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points in the Program shall result in forfeiture of the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points as well as termination and cancellation of the eDGE Loyalty Rewards membership.
    2. Information supplied by a member on redemption of rewards may be used by Axis Bank for administrative and/or marketing purposes, without procuring any permission, written or otherwise, from the member.
    3. All communication related to eDGE Loyalty Rewards will be sent on the email ID registered on the eDGE Loyalty Rewards website ONLY.
    4. By giving us the registered email ID, the member provides Axis Bank the permission to send the communication and promotional offers related to the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program on the registered email id. Please note the registered email ID for the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program may or may not be the registered email ID with the Axis Bank. The eDGE Loyalty Rewards registered email id will not be updated on the Axis Bank records.
    5. Any taxes or other liabilities or charges payable to the Government or any other authority or body or any other participating merchant establishment which may arise or accrue to a member on redemption of eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points as aforesaid or otherwise shall be to the sole account of the member.
    6. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program does not in any way amend the Agreement between Axis Bank and the member regarding any product, purchased by the member and mentioned within the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship, and any term referenced, but not defined herein, may be interpreted in accordance with the Agreement entered between the member and Axis Bank (the Member Agreement). Notwithstanding anything contained herein, in the event there is any contradiction between these terms and conditions and the member Agreement, then terms of member Agreement shall prevail.
    7. eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program acts in good faith in response to any oral or electronic instruction or inquiry by the member in respect of any matter in relation to this Program and the fulfillment of any reward, the member shall not be entitled to claim or allege any loss, damage, liability, expense, etc. attributable, directly or indirectly, to any such good faith action of Axis Bank and the member shall indemnify and hold Axis Bank fully harmless in respect thereof.

    9.     10. One of the conditions on which eDGE Loyalty Rewards has agreed to allow the member to participate in the Program is that he/she confirms and accepts the terms and conditions as herein contained.
    11. eDGE Loyalty Rewards makes no representation and provides no warranty whatsoever, expressed or implied, and undertakes and assumes no liability whatsoever, in respect of the quality or merchantability of any reward or the suitability or fitness thereof for any use or purpose. All eDGE Loyalty Rewards shall be accepted by the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship holder at his/her own risk.
    12. Axis Bank is not responsible for disputes involving eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points, rewards or any other aspect of this Program between joint signers of the Account. Any personal liability arising out of the receipt or use of the Program, or the eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship is solely the member's responsibility.
  9. Breach of Terms and Conditions
    1. In the event of a breach by an eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship-holder of these Terms and Conditions or of any applicable provisions in any policy incorporated by reference herein, or in the event of failure on part of an eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship-holder to pay for any outstanding / dues within the prescribed time set by Axis Bank or for any other reason whatsoever, Axis Bank reserves the right, at its discretion, to:
      1. Terminate and close the eDGE Loyalty Rewards membership in the Program
      2. Refuse to award eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points
      3. Withdraw eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points; and/or
      4. Refuse to redeem eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points
    2. Such suspension and disqualification of a eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points Relationship holder may result, at Axis Bank's discretion, in the forfeiture of all of the accrued eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points in the Relationship-holder's account.
  10. Choice of Law
    1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Indian Republic and all disputes to be dealt with in the Mumbai Jurisdiction.
  11. Withdrawal
    1. Axis Bank reserves the right to wholly or partly modify eDGE Loyalty Rewards Program. Axis Bank also reserves the right to change eDGE Loyalty Rewards' conversion rate, withdraw eDGE Loyalty Rewards awarded or to vary any of the Terms and Conditions herein in its absolute discretion and without prior notice to members.
    2. In case eDGE Loyalty Rewards comes in conflict with any rule, regulation or order of any statutory authority, then Axis Bank has absolute authority and right to modify or cancel this program to give effect to the said requirements.
  12. Data Security
    1. The data shared by the customer will not be shared with any third party vendor / manufacturer. The customer's data will not be misused or marketed outside of Axis Bank and will not be sent outside Axis Bank records for any purpose without explicit permission from the customer. The personal information of customer shall not be disclosed to any third party, except as described in this policy. Third party disclosures may include sharing such information with non-affiliated companies that perform support services including those that provide professional, legal or accounting advice to Axis Bank. Non-affiliated companies that assist Axis Bank in providing services to customer are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information to the extent they receive it and to use personal information of customer only in the course of providing such services. Whenever Axis Bank hires other organization to provide support services, other organization shall conform to Privacy Policy of the Axis Bank and shall allow Axis Bank to audit them for compliance.
    2. Axis Bank reserves the right to modify/ alter all or any of the terms applicable to the Program without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever. Axis Bank also reserves the right to discontinue the Program without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever.

    The above Forex rules are effective from 1st January, 2014. The eDGE Loyalty Rewards points on the above transactions will be credited by 20th the following month.

    Customers can earn points on Forex transactions only if they have eligible Savings Account or Debit / Credit Cards or Inaam Account.

    *Eg: Customer has spent a cumulative of EURO 300 in January, 2014. The exchange rate prevailing on 1st January, 2014 is 1 EURO = USD 1.38. The equivalent USD amount now becomes USD 412.73. Basis the earn rule as mentioned above the customer account will be credited with 164 eDGE Loyalty Rewards Points for USD 412.73.

  2. For the customers who have PlusPoints in their account, the existing points will be converted into the new program as per the above logic.
    1. Hence, based on the Card Type the Earn Rate Per Rs. 100 spend on the earlier PlusPoints Program will be converted into Edge Points Per Rs. 200 spend. For example, a cardholder who had earned 1 PlusPoint on every Rs. 100 spend will now earn 1.5 Points on Rs. 200 spend keeping the value of the point the same.
  3. This is also done to bring into effect the revised rate per point while keeping the customer's total accumulated value unchanged.
  4. Please note that currently, there is no point earning on spends done through the Axis Bank Classic and Titanium Debit Cards.
  5. Any other relationship as may be added from time to time
      *Points Earning Table mailed (electronically or otherwise) or made available on www.Axisbank.com by Axis Bank to its customers, as the same may be amended from time to time at Axis Bank's sole discretion without prior notice, shall be incorporated herein by reference.
  6. Points Earning Table shall set forth specific terms relating to each eDGE Loyalty Rewards Relationship, and such terms shall be incorporated in these Terms and Conditions.
