The Axis Bank Gift Card can only be used at Point-of-Sale terminals at merchant outlets. ATM access to the Gift Card is blocked and thus no cash withdrawal is possible.

Are there any limits to the amount that can be loaded on the Axis Bank Gift Card?

The Axis Bank Gift Card can be loaded with any amount starting from a minimum of Rs. 1000 till a maximum of Rs. 50,000.

How do I check the balance on my Axis Bank Gift Card?

Axis Bank provides you the facility of Balance Enquiry on your Gift Card through our Telebanking and Internet Banking facilities. The Gift Card Kit also contains a Telebanking PIN and an Internet Banking PIN. One can do the following using the Axis Bank Telebanking/Internet Banking facility:

  • Check your Gift Card balance
  • Know about the details of transactions carried out with your Gift Card.

How do I ensure the safety of my Axis Bank Gift Card?

If the applicant uses the Card he needs to sign on the reverse of the Card on receipt of the Card to avoid its unauthorized use. If the applicant is gifting the Card to some one else, then the beneficiary of the Card needs to sign on the reverse of the Card on receipt of the Card to avoid its unauthorised use.

Is the Axis Bank Gift Card reloadable?

The Axis Bank Gift Card is a non-reloadable card. It can be loaded only once at the time of issuance.

What do I do if my Axis Bank Gift Card is lost or stolen?

On loss of the card, please report to Axis Bank through Phone Banking or to your nearest Axis Bank branch. You would need to file a report of the Card loss with the police and submit a copy of the same to the branch. The lost Card will be hotlisted and the available amount less charges would be repaid to the original card applicant.

What do I do when my Axis Bank Gift Card has expired?

On expiry, the card-purchaser needs to handover the card to the nearest Axis Bank branch. An Available Amount of Rs 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) and above at the time of expiry of the Card shall be refunded to the Cardholder who had purchased the Card after deducting the Bank's charges, provided a claim for such refund is made with the Bank not later than 3 (three) months from the expiry of the Card.

What do I do when the balance on my Axis Bank Gift Card becomes nil?

In such cases please cut the card into four pieces and hand them over to the nearest Axis Bank branch.
