    What is a Smart Pay?

    The Axis Bank Smart Pay is a rupee-denominated prepaid VISA Card for disbursing your Employee Salaries/Reimbursements. The Smart Pay would be loaded with the amount of Salary / Reimbursement payment by the Corporate, whenever due.

    What is the validity period of the card?

    The validity of the card is 5 years from the date of Issue. The date of issuance and date of expiry is printed on the Smart Pay.

    Where can the Smart Pay be used?

    The card can be used at all Axis Bank ATMs in India. The card can also be used at POS terminals at all the various merchant outlets supported by VISA in India.

    Does the employee need to have an Axis Bank account to purchase this card or maintain any minimum balance on a monthly or quarterly basis?

    No, the employees need not have an account with Axis Bank or maintain any minimum balance on this card.

    Who can deposit money onto the Smart Pay?

    The card can be loaded only by the employer or any other corporate with whom Axis Bank has entered into a specific agreement under instruction from the employer.

    What is maximum amount that can be withdrawn from an ATM/swiped at merchant outlets in a day?

    The maximum withdrawal limit in a day from an Axis Bank ATMs is Rs 20,000. The Smart Pay can also be swiped for up to Rs 20,000 in a day, subject to availability of balance in the card.

    Are there any charges for using the Card?

    Following is the tariff for using the Smart Pay on ATMs:

    There are no charges for using the card on Point of Sale at merchant outlets.

    How can the Cardholder view the balance on his Smart Pay?

    The Cardholder can view his Smart Pay balance amounts on the Axis Bank ATMs as well on Axis Bank website through Internet Banking facility provided on his Smart Pay.

    The Cardholder can also obtain his Smart Pay mini statements at any of our Axis Bank ATMs and also e-statements through Internet Banking facility.

    How can the Cardholder apply for duplicate Smart Pay?

    In case if the Cardholder's card is lost or stolen, the Cardholder can apply for duplicate card by filling up an application form at the nearest Axis Bank branch.

    How can the Cardholder apply for duplicate ATM / iConnect / Telebanking PIN?

    The Cardholder can apply for duplicate ATM / iConnect / Telebanking PIN by submitting a written request at the nearest Axis Bank branch.
