1) Netsecure with SMS

How to Register for Netsecure with SMS?

To register for NETSECURE with SMS, you must first ensure that your mobile number is registered with the Bank.

If you currently receive SMS Alerts from us on your mobile, it means that your mobile number is registered with the Bank. If not, please visit your nearest Axis Bank ATM or Branch to register your mobile number.

Once you have ensured that your mobile number is registered with us, log in to Axis Bank Internet Banking and choose "NETSECURE with SMS" option on the registration page. Your NETSECURE registration is now complete.

I have not received the Netsecure code ?

In case you have not received Netsecure code on your registered mobile number,

  • You can click on “Resend OTP” button to receive the same Netsecure Code. “Resend OTP” button changes to “Regenerate OTP”
  • If you have still not received the Netsecure Code , you can click on “Regenerate OTP” button to receive Netsecure Code through an automated voice call on your registered mobile number.

I am getting “Invalid credentials” error on entering Netsecure code?

If you enter wrong Netsecure code, you will get “Invalid credential” error.

I am not able to do any financial transaction?

Five consecutive unsuccessful attempts to enter Netsecure code will disable your Netsecure code for the day. You will be able to access your account but will not be able to do any transaction which requires you to enter Netsecure code for validation.



2) Netsecure with Webpin

To login using NETSECURE with WebPin, you need to register one or more of your frequently used computers. You can then use Axis Bank Internet Banking only from these registered computers. In addition, during registration, you will be prompted to set a WebPin. This WebPin will be used to generate the NETSECURE Code (a single usage password), which will be required to login to Axis Bank Internet Banking.

How to Register for Netsecure with Webpin?

If you currently receive SMS Alerts from us on your mobile, it means that your mobile number is registered with the Bank. If not, please visit your nearest Axis Bank ATM or Branch to register your mobile number.

Once you have ensured that your mobile number is registered with us, log in to Axis Bank Internet Banking and choose "NETSECURE with WebPin" option on the registration page. Your NETSECURE registration is now complete.

What are the recommended system requirement for the Web Pin?

  • PC / Laptop Specifications: 512 MB RAM, Pentium4 onwards
  • Internet connectivity Broadband :(512Kbps onwards)
  • Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Professional, XP, VISTA, Windows 2003 Server
  • Recommended screen resolution: 1024X768
  • Supported Browsers: IE 6.0+, Firefox 1.5 onwards (3.0+ recommended), Opera 9.0+, Safari 3.0+
  • Mandatory Browser settings: Enable JavaScript, Cookies and Java
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) requirement: JRE 1.4.x, JRE 1.5.x, JRE 1.6.x and onwards

How to activate Netsecure through Webpin?

Steps to register Webpin -

  1. To register your computer(s), login through the particular computer.
  2. On login, you will be prompted to activate NETSECURE and a 6-digit activation code would be sent through SMS to your registered mobile number.
  3. Enter the activation code and follow two simple steps to set a WebPin
  4. This WebPin would be used to generate the NETSECURE Code on the virtual keyboard.

Note: You will be allowed to access Axis Bank Internet Banking only from the computer, through which you have done the WebPin registration.

I am getting Invalid Netsecure code error while trying to log in?

To rectify this issue you need to

  1. Sync date and time on your device
  2. De-register your device for Webpin
  3. Register your device again for Webpin

How to sync date and time on my device?

To rectify this issue you need to

  • Time zone should be exact to the location where you are currently based i.e India, Dubai, US, Australia etc.
  • To know the exact time, you can search Google (Current time of India or any location as the case may be).
  • Double click on the Clock time on your device.
  • Under Date and time tab you need to change the time. The time must be equal to the time displayed in Google.
  • For ex. Time zone for India should be selected as (GMT+5:30 Chennai, Kolkatta, New Delhi, Mumbai)

How can I deregister my computer?

To deregister your computer, kindly click on “Deregister this computer” link provided on the Webpin screen.

I am getting “You have exceeded, number of allowed Webpin registration” error?

You need to de-register any of your previously registered devices and then try registering Webpin on the new device.



3) NETSECURE with 1-Touch

NETSECURE 1-Touch is a small device that generates a unique NETSECURE Code (a single usage password) every time a button on it is pressed and held.

This NETSECURE Code will have to be entered in addition to your login ID and password to login to Axis Bank Internet Banking.

How to Register for Netsecure with 1 touch?

Login to Axis Bank Internet Banking and choose "NETSECURE with 1-Touch" option on the registration page. Your NETSECURE registration is now complete. You will receive the 1-Touch device at your registered address within 10 working days.

What are Applicable Charges for Netsecure with 1 touch?

  • Rs 800 plus taxes per 1-Touch device
  • Replacement charges - Rs 500 plus taxes per 1-Touch device

I am getting “Secure Hash” error while trying to login?

Please follow the steps mentioned here under to resolve the issue

For Windows Operating System:

Step1:
Please clear your cookies and temporary internet files from your browser. If the user is using IE 8 or 9, you can go to Tools>>then Select F12 Developer Tools>> Click on Cache >>Clear Browser Cache.

If the user is having Mozilla firefox >> Tools >> Options >> Privacy >> Clear Individual Cookies >> Remove all.

Step 2:
Go to your Control Panel and locate Java, then double click to open. then go to Security and click on View Certificates. If you see any certificate in the name of Axis Bank Ltd. Remove the same.

Step 3:
Also clear cookies from Java Control Panel.: Go to START >> Settings >> Control Panel >>Locate JAVA, Right Click and Open >> Click on General >> Settings under Temporary Internet files. Click on Delete files and OK.

For MAC Operating System:

From your Desktop

Step 1:
Go to Macintosh HDD -> Application -> Utilities -> Java Preferences app -> Security Tab -> Select all Axis Bank signed Certificates -> select minus sign (-) Remove

Step 2:
After that go to Network Tab -> Delete Files -> Select 1) Applications & Applets & 2)Trace & log files - > OK

From your Browser

Step 3.
Open Safari Browser -> Reset Safari -> Empty Cache ->

Step 4:
.:: Open Safari Browser -> Preferences -> Security -> locate if Enable Plug-ins , Enable Java & Enable JavaScripts is selected. If not, then select all the above three options and close the browser (in order to apply the settings).

Step 5:
Launch Safari Browser -> type https://www.axisbank.co.in -> Enter your customer id & Password - > Submit. It will give you a pop-up message" An Applet from axisbank.co.in is requesting to access your computer -> Allow

I have followed the above steps but still getting the error?

You need to follow the steps mentioned below

  1. Remove the existing JRE from your PC and re-install the same.
  2. Please visit http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.
  3. Check whether Operating system and Browser of 32 BIT or 64 BIT: you will get information on 64 BIT installation from the above link itself.
  4. The above link is an official site of Oracle, which will provide you the list of Operating System and the related JRE, and, also provides you the option for downloading Java Online and OFF Line mode. Please select OFFLine mode and save the file in your desktop or anywhere in your hard disc from where you can retrieve and install the same later.
  5. Once you finish download, then check whether you are able to proceed further. Please ensure that you are keeping all the browsers and applications closed while installing the JRE in your system.
  6. You can verify whether the JRE is correctly installed in your PC.
  7. After installation, please visit http://www.java.com again and click on Do I Have Java? then Verify Java.

I am “getting Invalid Netsecure Code” error?

You need to generate new Netsecure code from the 1 touch device and enter in the same session or use “Resync” link for synchronization of 1 touch device.
