Features and Benefits



LIME is a lifestyle app offered by Axis Bank. The app enables you to pay bills, recharge and shop seemlessly along with exciting offers.
LIME is free of charge. You can download and use this application as and when needed without any charges. Your mobile operator may levy charges for GPRS/SMS used. Please check with your operator for details.
LIME use is open for Indian citizens above the age of 12 years with an active mobile number. Currently, the application will be supported on Android platforms with version 4.0 and above. Note: NRI/Foreign nationals will not be able to register for LIME.
No.LIME is available for existing customers (Savings/ Credit Cards) as well as non-axis bank customers.
LIME is a lifestyle app that enables you to do a multitude of things. LIME offers a wider range of things, some of them are recharging your phone, paying bills, shopping and a lot more.
There is a necessary technical intervention in progress on LIME app due to which some features are not available currently. Your money is absolutely safe and we are working hard to restore services as soon as possible.

Kindly ensure that your registered mobile number sim is inserted in the primary slot of your device.


Please authenticate by answering the security question and OTP to regenerate new MPIN.
You can reset your MPIN by using the Reset MPIN feature in Settings
LIME wallet is linked to your mobile number used during registration. Registering with a new mobile number will open a new wallet for you.
Please download the app from playstore and re-register. App will recognize your mobile number and onboard you again.
As a security requirement due to multiple wrong attempts the account is blocked. It is done to safeguard your account. The account will re-opened after 12 hours.

Add Money

Please click on "Add money" icon on the home-page. You can add money to wallet by internet banking, credit cards, and debit cards of any bank.
For non-Axis Bank customers, a maximum sum of Rs.10,000/- can be loaded to LIME Wallet per month. Axis Bank customers can load a maximum of Rs 1,00,000/- to the LIME wallet every month.

In app Shopping

The LIME Shop is a platform which helps customers select from the best shopping experiences across categories. The app has been built to provide a one-stop solution to find the right deal for you and even allows you to browse and purchase movie tickets, bus tickets, flight tickets and book hotels.
You should contact the merchant directy for all issues. The details are available in the respective features in LIME mobile app.

Bill Payments

LIME can be used to pay a variety of bills ranging from Mobile, DTH, Landline, Electricity, Gas bills, etc.
There is no charge levied for making bill payments through LIME mobile app

Transfer Money

You can use your wallet money for shopping, billpayments and recharges but you cannot transfer funds in your LIME wallet back to your savings account or transfer it to another LIME wallet.


You can edit your personal details in the settings tab.

Shopping card

LIME wallet gives you the option to have a pre-paid card which you can use for payments, shopping, etc.
No, by default, the balance in your shopping card will be the same as the balance of your LIME wallet.
Currently it is not LIVE. We are working towards getting physical form of the shopping card soon.

Upgrade to Account

‘Upgrade to Account’ is the process to open a “LIME SAVINGS A/c” digitally. The Bank account unlocks various new features of LIME increases your wallet limit to Rs. 1 Lakh per month. This account is only offered to Non axis bank customers through LIME mobile app. You can open a LIME Savings bank account in few simple steps. The process is as follows -
1. Enter your Aadhar and PAN card details and other required personal details on the app.
2. Complete your verification by scheduling an appointment with a bank representative to activate your account.
