Stipend and Salary


Young Bankers will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.5, 000/- per month for the first 9 months to meet the out of pocket expenses and Rs. 12,000/-per month during the internship towards their living expenses.


On successful completion of the course the student would be absorbed in the role of 'Customer Service Officer (CSO)' at Assistant Manager in the Bank with a gross CTC (cost to company) of Rs. 4.01 lakhs per annum (This is inclusive of Loan benefits and Indicative Performance linked Bonus plus Retrials). Breakup of the same is as shown below.

Please Note:-

  • Retirals not encashable.
  • Staff loan benefits are not encashable. The figure indicated is the Staff loan value as and when availed. Staff loans will be applicable as per the eligibility and terms of the employment.
  • Performance bonus is indicative and the figure displayed corresponds to the highest performance rating. Final performance bonus received is subject to the individual’s performance and the organisation’s performance & compensation policies in effect.
  • CTC is based on current level of compensation
  • CTC is based on the lowest levels of HRA, hence the actual CTC will change based on the final location of posting.



A Postgraduate Diploma in Banking Services (PGDBS) will be conferred on a participant on his / her successful completion of the programme. However, for award of the postgraduate diploma, a participant has to fulfil the following requirements:

  • He/ She should have taken and passed in each course of study as prescribed in the curriculum to earn the minimum number of credits specified for that particular course.
  • He/ She would become eligible for the award of a diploma on acquiring requisite number of credits at the end of the program.
  • He/ She should have satisfactorily fulfilled other academic requirements (as specified in the course of study/ curriculum) like practical training, work visits, seminar, project etc.

Students will appear for certain banking certification examinations such as NISM, as a part of the academic program. The exam fee will be borne by the students themselves and will be reimbursed to those who successfully complete the exam, on joining the Bank.
