Data protection is the safeguarding of the privacy of Axis Bank customers in relation to the processing of personal data held in both paper and electronic format. This document outlines the Bank’s policy in respect of data privacy.

The term ‘incident’ in this document can be defined as any irregular or adverse event, which occurs on any part of the Bank’s information systems. Incident management responsibilities and procedures should be clearly defined.
