How to use the Average Balance Calculator?

Our calculator enables you to calculate the Monthly Average Balance (MAB) required to be maintained in your savings account based on inputs provided by you.

Average balance is the simple average of the day end balances for the period mentioned. It is sum total of day end balances divided by the number of days

2. How do I know the balance requirement?

3. How to avoid non maintenance charges?

To avoid Non maintenance charges, you need to maintain the required average balance/TRV /Spends as applicable to the product opted by you. To know the balance/TRV/Spends requirement for various products, please referwww.axisbank.com/feesandcharges

4. Is there a time period to reinstate the short balance amount?

Yes. In case of default in a month, you may reinstate the required average balance in subsequent month to avoid charges.

5. Will I be charged if TRV is maintained instead of Average balance?

If product TRV is maintained instead of average balance, non-maintenance charges are not applied. To know the balance/TRV/Spends requirement for various products, please refer www.axisbank.com/feesandcharges

e.g. For Prestige Savings Account – TRV is “ Average Monthly Balance (AMB) of Rs.1.5 Lakhs across Saving & Current Accounts Or Total Relationship of Rs. 3 Lakhs across Savings, Current Accounts, Fixed Deposits (min 6 Months) and Mutual fund Investments”

Incase Average monthly balance of Rs. 75,000 is not maintained, you have an option to maintain TRV as state above.

6. What if I find the balance requirement high for my Savings Account?

Incase you find that the average balance requirement for the accounts opted by you is on higher side, you have an option to convert your account to any other Savings account of your choice subject to compliance on terms and conditions of the product opted.
