Nothing spells power on the road than an SUV, and more brands are cashing in on the trend. Are you planning to buy one?

The SUV market in India is growing rapidly, with car makers like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Ford launching new products to cash in on the trend. Even brands like Nissan and Datsun are eager to enter the SUV market.

The price ranges from ₹7.90 lakh to ₹10.80 lakh. The W8 (O) costs an additional ₹1.19 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is equipped with safety features, such as Suzuki TECT (Total Effective Control Technology) front seat belts with Pre-Tensioner, dual Airbags Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and Force Limiter ISOFIX (child seat restraint system). Along with pedestrian safety compliance, it is certified for offset and side impact crash test norms. Prices start from ₹7.6 lakh.

Nissan Kicks

The New Nissan KICKS comes with best-in-class 8.0” Touch Infotainment System with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Around View Monitor, and ground clearance of 21cm. Even the base variant of Nissan Kicks is equipped with features, such as a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, LED DRLs, automatic climate control, power-adjustable wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators, rear AC vents, and a Bluetooth. Nissan KICKS is priced between ₹9.55 lakh and ₹14.65 lakh.

Tata Harrier

The five-seater monocoque SUV Harrier offers optimised torsional and bending stiffness for excellent driving dynamics. The Harrier has well-designed crumple zones for absolute safety and tailor welded blanks for high strength and reduced weight. The isolated sub-frame design minimizes the noise and loads caused by severe impacts, such as speed humps, and offers a quiet and refined in-cabin experience. Ford EcoSport

The 2019 EcoSport offers many features, such as leather-trimmed seats, for comfortable rides. Sync your smartphone to SYNC 3 Applink with Ford+Alexa app and enjoy favorite playlists from the 10-speaker B&O Sound System. Hill start assist helps in switching from brake to gas without rolling backward. With FordPass Connect you can go from house to car to venue without skipping a beat. Starting price is ₹7.8 lakh.

Tata Nexon

The Nexon comes with a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system that plays audio through an 8-speaker setup. LED DRLs and Projector headlamps are also parts of the kit. The Nexon is also equipped with rear AC vents and multiple drive modes (Eco, Sport, and City). For safety, it has dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS with EBD, and CSC (corner stability control).
Prices begin from ₹6.36 lakh to ₹10.80 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).

Jeep Compass

The five-seater Jeep Compass features excellent build quality and a four-wheel-drive powertrain in its top variant. The models are equipped with full-length side curtains for front and rear passengers, driver single-stage and front passenger dual-stage airbags, seat-mounted side airbags for front occupants for safety and security. Price starts at ₹15.41 lakh.

Toyota Fortuner

The Fortuner comes with a sturdy and wide imposing new grille, sharp bi-beam led headlamps, an intelligent key for a smart entry, LED light guides with aero fins, and robust and urban cool alloys. For comfort, it has 7.0 infotainment with SAT NAV and LED coordinated cabin lights. It has Advanced Touchscreen system, Electric Sunroof, electric adjustable driver’s seat, and more.
The petrol price starts from ₹27.5 lakh.
