FAQ

All Axis Bank customers holding bank account and credit card can download the app on their registered mobile number and get started. There is no separate registration process required for this app.
On downloading the application, it prompts to select the language of usage. However if you wish to change the language in future, this can be done from ‘Choose Language option’ in the left hand menu
Yes, you can transfer funds from Axis to Axis and from Axis to any other bank account.

You can transfer funds by opting either for SMS or USSD option. On selecting SMS option, further options will be listed to transfer funds. After selecting the option, enter details as required and submit. Post submission you will receive confirmation message about the status of your transaction.

Transfer funds using USSD option, further options will be listed. You can select the option and enter details as required and submit. Post submission USSD session will be enabled. After successful completion of session you will receive confirmation message about the status of your transaction. Customer should have sufficient account balance to initiate a fund transfer.
Fund transfer using SMS option will attract IMPS related charges. They are as below. Bank does not charge for SMS send to us.

Fund transfer using USSD option will attract special charges as listed by NPCI. Bank do not charge customer for using USSD.
Yes, you can receive money through Axis OK. Under menu option select Accounts >Fund transfer>USSD> Receive money. After selecting the above options, enter details required and submit. On successful submission, payer/sender will receive a SMS to accept or reject the request. Transaction will be completed after successful acceptance or rejection by payer/sender.
If the status of the transaction is shown as not available/pending , as per NPCI guidelines request you to wait for 2 days for reversal of funds in your account or credit to beneficiary's account. In case of non-receipt of funds after 2 days, please call or write to us.
Yes, you can now register for SMS banking through Axis Ok. Under main menu option, select ‘Register for SMS Banking’. Enter your customer ID, last 6 digit of your account number and submit. You will receive a confirmation message. Your mobile number should be registered with bank in order to enable yourself for SMS banking service. All Savings Account holders registered for SMS Banking (except NRI) will be charged Rs. 15 (exclusive of taxes) per quarter.
Select Recharge option, and then select mobile recharge through SMS or recharge by giving missed call. If recharge through SMS is selected, you need to enter mobile no., select the operator, enter amount, and last 6 digit of account no. and submit.

In case of recharge through missed call, first time user will have to activate the service(one time activity) by sending SMS ACT < mobile Operator > < last 6 digit of account no. >, e.g ACT < space > Aitrel < space > 123456. After activation, you can give missed call from registered mobile no. and you phone will be recharged.
Yes, you can use this service even if the service provider has changed using number portability. Please enter your new mobile operator and other details and submit.

Using mobile recharge through SMS, you can do a minimum recharge of Rs. 10 and a maximum recharge of Rs. 2000 through the app. Three successful recharges can be processed for the same Mobile Number per day. The overall recharge limit (Prepaid Mobile, DTH and Data Card recharge) per account would be Rs. 5000 per day.

Using mobile recharge through missed call, you can do a recharge of Rs. 100 by default. Three successful transactions per day/ account is allowed.
UPI PIN in Axis Ok is a 6 digit number and is required while doing USSD transaction only. It’s the same PIN used for doing USSD transaction. You can generate UPI PIN by clicking the option ‘Generate PIN’ under main menu. It’s one time activity. Enter details required and send. You will receive a confirmation on successful generation of UPI PIN. For first time user, USSD settings need to entered by dialing *99#.
This facility is free of cost by Axis Bank. Charges may be applied by the mobile operator.
Yes, you can deactivate your missed call service for doing mobile recharge. Type DACT send to 5676782.
For Recharge you do not require internet access. Non-GPRS users can recharge their prepaid mobile using a single service.
While doing recharge, Axis Bank debits your account immediately. If you have entered an invalid number/ postpaid number, the amount will be credited back to your account in 4 working days
You have to be careful while entering the mobile number for recharge. In case a wrong mobile number has been recharged by mistake, the amount will not be reversed to your account

This could be due to various reasons like

  • Recharge denomination not available
  • Postpaid mobile number
  • Operator system not available

In case your recharge is unsuccessful, the amount will be credited back to your account in 4 working days.

To recharge DTH using Axis OK app, select recharge option and further select DTH recharge. Enter subscriber ID, operator, amount and last 6 digits of the account number and submit. Your DTH will be recharged.
No, you have to provide the last 6 digits of your Axis Bank account number that is mapped to the mobile number from where the SMS is sent
Minimum Recharge amount is Rs. 200 and maximum recharge amount is Rs 5000. Please check with the service provider for various recharge options available for DTH. Total three transactions can be processed for the same DTH number per day. The overall SMS recharge limit (Prepaid Mobile, DTH and Data Card recharge) per account would be Rs. 5000 per day.
The DTH recharge facility is free of cost to you by Axis Bank. Charges may be applied by the mobile service provider for use of SMS.
Your account will be debited immediately. If you have entered an invalid Customer ID while doing recharge, the amount will be credited back to your account within 4 working days.
You have to be careful while entering the Customer ID for DTH recharge. In case, a wrong Customer ID has been recharged by mistake, the amount will not be reversed to your account.
To recharge your data card, select recharge option and further select prepaid data card recharge. Enter data card number, select operator, enter the amount and last 6 digits of your account number. and submit. Your data card will be recharged.

Most of the features ask for last 6 digits of your account number. The features like check balance, mini statement where account number is optional, your default account number which is the latest account number will be fetched from back end.
